US 460 Construction
This project is designed to connect the south end of the US 460 Bypass
around Blacksburg with the north end of the bypass around Christiansburg.
Along with a new exit on I-81 and a connection from the south end of the
Christiansburg bypass, this will provide a direct limited-access connection
from Blacksburg (from the traffic light on Southgate Drive, for now) to I-81
and points beyond.
Related to this construction are some parts of the
"Blacksburg/Christiansburg 2020 Transportation Plan" -- mainly
the extension of VA 114 east to Va. 723, Ellett Road.
